PYBphy international travel grants are awards funded by PYBphy to help BSc, MSc and PhD students from outside the host country to participate in the BIOPHYSICS FESTIVAL 2026 to be held in Coimbra, Portugal.

 

PYBphy will support 5 bursaries of €100 each. Note that it is mandatory to submit a CV, a motivation letter, an abstract and a proof of enrollment at a foreign univeristy to be eligible!

Please check the eligibility criteria below carefully. PYBphy international travel grants are not available to students resident in Portugal.

Eligibility criteria

PYBphy international travel grants applicants must:
• Submit an abstract to the BIOPHYSICS FESTIVAL as first author
• Give proof of being a BSc, MSc or PhD student at a foreign university
• Be non-Portuguese residing outside of Portugal

How to apply

Applications for PYBphy international travel grants for the BIOPHYSICS FESTIVAL must be made by email to sribeiro@i3s.up.pt and to pybiophysicists.spbf@gmail.com with "Application for International Grant - Biophysics Festival 2026 - [Your Name] in the subject before the deadline of April 22, 2026.

Please send/upload the following documents for your application:
• Proof of Enrollment: BSc, MSc or PhD student at a foreign university

• Curriculum Vitae (1 page)

• Motivation letter (1 page)
• Submit your abstract as first author, using the template available in the registration form.
